Accounts in the Google Apps service
It is recommended to configure your account according to the security offered by Google, i.e. provide a secondary e-mail address and phone number.
If it is not possible to recover the password with the above method, you must report in person at AITC, room 4/15.

The password may be changed through the account management panel. Click Login and then Change Password.
Attention!
Changing your e-mail access password is not the same as changing your wireless access password. In this case, log in again to the wireless access verification page using the new password.

In the message received, to the address provided during recruitment, select the “Resetuj hasło” button and then set a new one.

The password cannot be recovered, but it can be changed to a temporary one.
Password reset takes place from Monday to Friday between 8.30 and 15.00
Users who have not provided data for password recovery must report in person to the IT Centre, building AITC room 4/15.
The password may be changed as follows:
An employee will send a confirmation request to the e-mail address provided in the data for password recovery.
Following confirmation, a temporary password will be sent, and that one must be changed according to this procedure.

The currently used limit may be checked by logging in through the account management panel.
Users with an account on the server ekonom.ue.katowice.pl:
POP3 server: pop.ue.katowice.pl, port: 110 (without encryption), 995 (SSL/TLS encryption)
SMTP server: smtp.ue.katowice.pl, port: 587, authentication enabled (possibly STARTTLS encryption enabled)
E-mail address: login@ue.katowice.pl (for employees – in accordance with the Rector’s Regulation)

If an encrypted connection is chosen, the server names remain the same. This type of connection is recommended.
Authentication must be enabled.

Log in to your account, then choose the Settings in the menu and the Filters tab, choose the active Set of filters (if there is none, click the + sign, enter any name and click Save).
Such setting of the autoresponder will send replies only to messages that are not classified as SPAM.
To turn off the automatic reply, choose the active filter set from the Filters menu, then click on the filter with the autoresponder and check Filter disabled. Confirm by clicking Save. The filter enables advanced automatic replies depending on different conditions.
Enabled SMTP authentication is mandatory.
